So I basically looked up language and communication disorders in the movies, and I came across this one: "The King's Speech". Now, I hope I'm not going to get into trouble for this, but since we are college kids, I felt it shouldn't be too big of a deal. This movie is rated "R" but I think it's for language use and violence. However, it's based on the true story of a man with a stammer who was a real world leader in England. It stars Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush,  Helen Bonham Carter, and other really big names in Hollywood. Plus, it just looks like an excellent movie. I really think it would be worth checking out.

  1. Yes, I agree that this movie has quite a bit of language in it. It was not a movie I would normally watch because of the language, but my husband was so excited for me to watch it. He loves movies that are based on true stories and have such a wonderful outcome for individuals. I think it is truly amazing to find those few individuals who will not give up on a person, but are determined to see them succeed!
