Consider the type of Cerebral Palsy. Why is it important to know this about children in our classroom? How could this impact them within the classroom setting?
This question confuses me I am taking this as list out all the different types of Cerebral Palsy. Then tell how knowing the different types would be important in the classroom and for the our students.
Does that sound right to anybody else?
I'm really not sure about this one either. I thought maybe she was continuing from the last question and saying: Consider how CP is a sensory issue. Why is it important to know this...
ReplyDeleteThen I thought about the video we watched in class and thought maybe that's where we were supposed to go... considering Keith Jones was given coloring books and crayons because his teachers thought he had a cognitive impairment... I'm not really sure at all though.
Thanks for your help. Speaking off question 7 did you give an example for each type or did you just do one example that fit all the categories. Because I just picked one of the categories and one disorder.
ReplyDeleteNo problem. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's confused!
ReplyDeleteOn #7 I did an example of each type... but I wasn't really positive about that one either.
I only had one but I went back and add the other two in it may be better to have over than not enough.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I was thinking.
ReplyDeleteThink about the video we watched about Keith Jones. If he were in your class as a child ... what would you need to know in order to most effectively provide educate him? What type of academic expectations would you have? How would he use a computer? Would he be able to sit in the desks?
ReplyDeleteDo not answer my questions above in answering your test question. But, think about those as you think about how you would answer that question. How does knowing what type of Cerebral Palsy. . . how does the type of CP impact the child and how you would need to accommodate for the child in your classroom.
