I am sitting here staring at the last question on our test and just feel kind of stuck. I might be over analyzing it but I can't decide if she wants one specific example from one type of disorder or if she just wants us to give a general answer that pertains to all of those disorders mentioned in the chapters she listed. I would greatly appreciate any input on this. I know it's late but I have been thinking about this question for two hours. Help!
Example using Syntax and another population... Syntax is grammar. It is an issue for students who have English as a second language because they are learning the a different structure than their native language. The rules, form and structure of English is often different than their first language causing them to struggle with English.
ReplyDeleteWhat is pragmatics? Based on that why would it be a challenge for students with autism, cognitive delays, learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders?
I think I might have it now. I just wasn't sure if you wanted a general answer or one specific to only one of the disabilities listed. I gave a general answer for all... did you want us to only choose one?
Deletejust finished my test and i was worried about that last question but after reading this blog i think i answered it correctly using pragmatics with autism. Or lets hope so at least!
ReplyDeleteIm glad I was not the only person to have a problem with this question!!!
