Types of Cerebral Palsy: Group 6
Spastic- stiff and difficult movement
Athetoid- involuntary and uncontrolled movement
Ataxic- disturbed sense of balance and depth perception

    There is also a mixed type of Cerebral Palsy.

    Rigidity and mixed should be added, this can be found on page 259

    Group 3:

    Athetoid - Involuntary movements
    Ataxic - Difficulty balancing
    Mixed - several types of movement disorders
    Rigidity - limited movement
    Hypertonia - limited range of motion

    Mixed- Types ID as single individual, combination of 2 or more types
    Hypertonia- Range of motion
    Rigidity- Simultaneous contraction of muscles
