So how many people have finished their language projects? I have taken my sample and typed it up but thats it. It seems like so much work and the due date is coming up fast!
I haven't finished my language project either. Diligence is key at this point of the semester! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I can feel the Diploma in my hand, just one project, one class, one semester at a time......
I have mine typed up. I have to dedicate all week to finishing it. It was so much fun though I spent the entire day with my god daughter and we had a blast (:
We will be working on these IN CLASS tomorrow night! If your sample is typed up BRING IT TO CLASS and use it during the exercises. We will actually be analyzing a "sample project" for semantics, syntax and pragmatics. But, if you have YOUR sample each time we do that you can use YOUR project and be working on YOURS.
We will be in groups of 2-4 depending on how YOU want to group yourselves. If someone in the group is analyzing for semantics and we start with that then everyone can help that person with theirs - discuss it and work on it. When we get to form, whoever in the group is doing THAT will analyze for THAT. If no one is, then go back to semantics. We will finish up with pragmatics.
If you do not have your own sample I will encourage you to get with those who do have samples to assist them. I will also have sample projects if you want to be working on one along with the group.
All I have is the recording. I feel so behind! But the key is to stay calm and focused. I'm hoping after tonight's class I will have a really good understanding of what I want to analyze in mine then I can work on completing it.
it seems like the closer to the end of the semester the more work is due in every class and the bigger these projects get..ahh, well we need to just picture summer break is only weeks away!@!!
All i have done is typed up my language sample too. I plan on working on it all week and getting it done.
