I love pinterest and under the education boards there are several great ideas of do it yourself posters. I especially love this one. There are also some pins that are great ideas for behavior charts, creative assignments and activities that help children with the formation of sounds and words.
I LOVE Pinterest!!! I have found so many great ideas for my future classroom. There are so many fun ways to teach different things and I love that Pinterest allows us to explore so many fabulous ideas!
ReplyDeleteI love Pinterest too! It's a great place to keep all of your ideas for various topics and events. I have an entire board dedicated to my future classroom and I just started a speech & language board. It's amazing what you can find and I love that you can add your own pins too. If anyone out there hasn't heard of it they need to check it out! There is a never-ending supply of great teacher ideas, so there's no excuses for not being an awesome educator!
DeleteWhile I am pretty obsessed with Pinterest my self, i found this that could be used to help identify certain words. The teacher could read off a word and the student could color in the correct word box/picture!

I also find Pinterest a very helpful website. It has a lot of ideas on how to make education fun. It also has a lot of strategies for organizing your classroom. There are also a lot of crafts on the website that I intend on trying with my future students!
ReplyDeleteI don't get on Pintrest very often, usually because I don't have the time, but when I do I love seeing all of the educational pins people have posted. I think that there are great crafts, like Brooke said, that could easily be incorporated into my future classroom that I repin so I don't forget about them. Thank you for posting your specific pins as well because now I can add them to my board!!
ReplyDeleteI have never been on pinterest but my mom uses it a lot. She teaches special education at a head start preschool and says she uses it to decorate her classroom all the time. I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that pinterest has some great ideas! I love my "future classroom" board. Also, you can get tons of great tips from other people and see how something worked (or didn't) for them. I think it is a great tool for every teacher.
